Village Development Sustainability Analysis: A Case Study in Cijeruk, Bogor Regency

Having abundant natural resources, the village is foundation of city. Villages have potential to develop various natural, physical, social, demographic, and cultural resources that not been optimally utilized. Therefore, sustainable development necessary improve villagers' welfare quality life. This study aims identify status sustainability sensitive attributes in through a case Cijeruk Village, District, Bogor Regency. The examined four aspects sustainability, ecology, economy, socio-culture, legal institutional dimensions using Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis called Rap-BUSAJI (Rapid Appraisal Village Development). found has relatively status, with an overall index 53.29%. also identified ten could be used evaluate development. These include three ecological dimension (clean water sources for communal MCK, availability clean water, MCK every house); 3 economic (marketing range main commodities, types supporting industries commodities); socio-cultural (average community education level, number agricultural workforces, unemployment); one attribute (maps disaster-prone areas availability).
